5000 - Springs, Pins & Small Parts

Springs, pins, and small parts are the often-overlooked components that hold a firearm together and keep it functioning reliably. Detent springs maintain selector and safety positions. Recoil springs absorb and redirect cycling energy. Firing pin springs return the firing pin after each strike. Roll pins and cross pins hold assemblies together. Plungers and detents provide positive positioning for controls. While individually small, these parts endure tremendous stress with every shot. Over decades of use, springs lose tension, pins wear, and plungers deform — making replacement essential for maintaining reliable function in vintage firearms.
