4000 - Trigger & Action

The trigger and action group encompasses the fire control components that manage how a firearm fires and cycles. This includes the trigger, sear, hammer (or striker), disconnector, safety mechanism, and their associated springs and pins. When you pull the trigger, the sear releases the hammer, which strikes the firing pin to ignite the cartridge primer. The disconnector ensures only one round fires per trigger pull in semi-automatic firearms. These components require precise fit and timing — worn or damaged trigger parts can cause dangerous malfunctions including doubling, failure to fire, or inability to engage the safety.
